Carroll strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Angola Hornets 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chargers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Carroll's got stronger as the match went on, holding Angola to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-12.

Bailey Sinish paced Carroll's offense, picking up 16 kills. Sinish got some help from Elli Oskey and her 37 assists. Oskey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

When it comes to explaining why Angola lost, don't look at Mady Conrad. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and one assist.

Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 29-0. As for Angola, their loss ended a 12-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-7.

Looking ahead, Carroll will square off against Fishers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Angola, after both having extra time off, they and East Noble will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
