Taft put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Aiken Falcons a 45-0 shutout. The Senators' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a point in their last six games.

Taft's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Aiken, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Taft is set to take on their familiar foe Woodward at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Aiken will face off against rival Hughes on Saturday.
