Volleyball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Eureka Wildcats. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Northwest now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Eureka, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Northwest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Marquette on the 11th. As for Eureka, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Affton on the 11th.
