Basketball Recap: Zac Woodman Key Part of a Team Effort in Mariners Win

There's no place like home for Oceanside, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Lawrence Bulldogs by a score of 82-75 on Monday. The Mariners have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Oceanside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zac Woodman led the charge by going 7 of 11 on his way to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Conner Kingsbury, who posted 18 points.

Oceanside now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lawrence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-11.

Oceanside has already played their next game, a 68-49 victory against Morse on the 24th. As for Lawrence, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 75-57 loss against Camden Hills on the 22nd.
