Fort Walton Beach won the last time they faced Gulf Breeze and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vikings came out on top against the Dolphins by a score of 11-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Rilyn Douglas was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off nine hits. Douglas was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

In other batting news, Alyx Hall was incredible, firing off two home runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. What's more, she posted two runs, the most she's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Hannah Isham, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Fort Walton Beach kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 12-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Fort Walton Beach's record is now 16-8. As for Gulf Breeze, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.
