Baseball Recap: Larkin Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Larkin's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Ridgewood Rebels on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Royals of the 7-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Larkin's loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Ridgewood, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Larkin will square off against Round Lake at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Ridgewood, they will challenge Elmwood Park at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
