Volleyball Recap: St. Rita Comes Up Short

St. Rita was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Providence Catholic Celtics. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Celtics from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.

St. Rita's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Providence Catholic, they moved to 7-16 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

St. Rita wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Jones on the 26th. As for Providence Catholic, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Marmion on the 26th.
