Neuse Charter has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 15. They came up short against the Raleigh Charter Phoenix on Monday, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Neuse Charter can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 516th, while Raleigh Charter are ranked 200th).

Neuse Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18-1. As for Raleigh Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6-2.
