Basketball Game Preview: Seymour Thunder vs. Shawano Community Hawks

The Seymour Thunder will face off against the Shawano Community Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Seymour is headed into Thursday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They took an 81-73 hit to the loss column at the hands of Notre Dame Academy on Monday.

Meanwhile, Shawano Community ended up a good deal behind Rhinelander on Tuesday and lost 49-34. The game marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Shawano Community's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Seymour, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5.

Everything came up roses for Seymour against Shawano Community in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured an 86-57 victory. Will Seymour repeat their success, or does Shawano Community have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
