Jordyn Climer put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Climer has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Climer was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
On Beardstown's side, Shelby Goodrich spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up six Ks.
