Fox Valley Lutheran put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They had just enough and edged out the Luxemburg-Casco Spartans 3-1. The three-run effort marked the Foxes' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Madison Babcock spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Fox Valley Lutheran saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paige Leavitt, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Fox Valley Lutheran's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Luxemburg-Casco, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-3.
