Baseball Recap: Warwick Victorious

After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Warwick brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-10 victory over the Valley Central Vikings on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Garrison Sobo, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Molinelli, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Warwick kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Warwick's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Valley Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
