Volleyball Recap: Crosby Comes Up Short

Crosby was the 3-1 winner over Galena Park when they last played one another back in October of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellowjackets on Thursday.

Kylie Green paced Crosby's offense, picking up five kills. Green really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with eight. Finally, she was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Crosby's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Galena Park, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Crosby has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Lamar on the 14th. As for Galena Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Alvin on the 14th.
