Volleyball Recap: Borrego Springs Comes Up Short

Borrego Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the West Shores Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-19.

Borrego Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for West Shores, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Borrego Springs will square off against rival Calexico Mission at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Shores is set to challenge their familiar foe Julian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
