Covington Catholic is 9-1 against Conner since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Colonels will head out to take on the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Covington Catholic is coming into the game hot, having won their last 14 games.

Covington Catholic is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Campbell County: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Colonels blew the Camels out of the water with a 98-64 final score. The Colonels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 contests by 21 points or more this season.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Conner and Ryle meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Cougars took a 75-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders.

Conner's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7. As for Covington Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 20-1.

Covington Catholic beat Conner 80-68 in their previous meeting back in February of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colonels since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
