If Oshkosh North wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Oshkosh West, they should've done a better job of containing Elaina Butz. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday for which the team can thank Butz, who had 14 digs and seven assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16, 25-13.

Oshkosh West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. As for Oshkosh North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-13.

Oshkosh West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Appleton East on the 16th. As for Oshkosh North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Kaukauna on the 16th.
