Volleyball Recap: Las Animas Trojans vs. Swallows Charter Academy Spartans
After flying high against Walsenburg last Thursday, Las Animas came back down to earth. The Trojans fell just short of the Swallows Charter Academy Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Despite the loss, Las Animas still got an impressive performance from Ava LaBarge, who had 31 digs. Johanna Alvarado was another key player, getting ten digs and one block.
