Baseball Recap: Red Lion Christian Academy Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

On Friday Red Lion Christian Academy's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Wilmington Charter Force. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Force, too.

Logan Hill made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dom Liguori, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.

Red Lion Christian Academy's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Wilmington Charter, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
