Ubly got themselves on the board against North Huron on Tuesday, but North Huron never followed suit. They blew past the Warriors 12-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.

Ubly got a great performance from Grant Spackman as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Ubly let T.J Barnes and Brayden Franzel run wild. Barnes went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles, while Franzel went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Franzel, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Ubly's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for North Huron, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Ubly will challenge Marlette at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Huron, they will face off against Dryden at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
