Statesboro waltzed into their match on Saturday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They claimed a resounding 61-34 victory over the Effingham County Rebels. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 27 points or more this season.

Muhammad Shareef went supernova for Statesboro, going 10 of 11 on his way to 23 points and eight rebounds. Those 23 points gave Shareef a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'Caiden Cone, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Statesboro smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Effingham County lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Lamar Roberts, who put up 11 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Damion Gordon, who had seven points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Statesboro's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points per game. As for Effingham County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Statesboro will welcome Bradwell Institute at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bradwell Institute is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 68.2 points per game this season. As for Effingham County, they will head out to square off against Evans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
