Grosse Ile lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Jefferson, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Red Devils put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 24-11 win on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Red Devils needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Rocco Pascuzzi made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off six hits. Pascuzzi was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Caleb Jones was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Evan Brown, who scored three runs while going 3-for-5.

The victory got Grosse Ile back to even at 1-1. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Grosse Ile will square off against rival Airport at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Jefferson is set to challenge their familiar foe Riverview at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
