Volleyball Game Preview: Cox Mill Chargers vs. Southwest Guilford Cowboys

The Cox Mill Chargers will take on the Southwest Guilford Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cox Mill will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Cox Mill made easy work of Page and carried off a 3-0 win.

Cox Mill got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The final score came out to 32-30, 25-16, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Southwest Guilford extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Cuthbertson. They came out on top against the Cavaliers by a score of 3-1.

Southwest Guilford walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 22-25, 25-14.

Southwest Guilford's win bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Cox Mill, their victory bumped their record up to 25-1.

Cox Mill took their win against Southwest Guilford in their previous meeting back in January of 2021 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Chargers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cowboys turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
