Baseball Recap: Waco Comes Up Short

Waco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Tournament Opponent, falling 13-1.

Waco saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chayse Rhynes, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Waco's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Waco will head out to challenge Cedar Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tournament Opponent, they have already played their next matchup, a 15-2 defeat against Trinity Christian on the 28th.
