Game recap: Fivay picks up early lead in victory over Hudson

Fivay (Hudson, Fla.) jumped out to an early lead against Hudson (Fla.) and never looked back on the way to a 46-3 victory on Saturday.

The Falcons scored 20 points in the first quarter. Fivay scored on a touchdown run by Davion Sutton, a touchdown pass by Sean Fluke to Christian Breviario and a Sutton touchdown run.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Sutton in the first quarter, FHS led 26-3 at the half.

The Falcons expanded their lead to 37 points entering the fourth quarter. Fivay scored two times in the third, including once on a Tyler Degen touchdown pass to Marcus Paskalakis.

Nathan Binder played well for the Cobras. The junior kicked one field goal.

Sutton was the top performer for FHS. The junior running back ran for three touchdowns. He has now scored 11 touchdowns on the season.



Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 35-0 win for the Falcons.

With the win Fivay extended its winning streak to three games.

In a 5A District 6 game next week Hudson (1-4) takes on Pasco, and Fivay (4-1) will go up against Gulf also in a 5A District 6 game.
