Football Recap: Roane County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Roane County was riding high fresh off their 46-22 takedown of Oliver Springs last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellowjackets fell 15-9 to the Loudon Redskins on Friday. The Yellowjackets lost against the Redskins in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 35-3 score last time.

Roane County dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Loudon, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Roane County will welcome Cumberland County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loudon, they will face off against Hixson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
