Softball Recap: Loudoun Valley Takes a Loss

Loudoun Valley suffered their closest loss since April 3rd on Thursday. They fell just short of the Tuscarora Huskies by a score of 8-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-8 on Tuesday.

Anna Ramos was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Harlie Reich, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Loudoun Valley now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Tuscarora, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Loudoun Valley nor Tuscarora have any future games scheduled.
