Soccer Game Preview: Windward vs. Bishop Montgomery

The Windward Wildcats will square off against the Bishop Montgomery Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Monday, Windward came up short against Brentwood School and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Windward's goal came courtesy of Griffin Misher, who's now up to seven this season.

Meanwhile, Bishop Montgomery hasn't lost a match since January 20th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over St. Genevieve. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by three goals or more this season.

Bishop Montgomery is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those ten games. As for Windward, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
