Preview: Wolsey-Wessington vs. Bon Homme
Wolsey-Wessington will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Bon Homme in at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
Wolsey-Wessington had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They steamrollered Miller/Highmore/Harrold 50-0. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (44) and coasted on those for the win.
Meanwhile, Bon Homme had to kick off their season on the road last Friday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against Parkston as the team secured a 41-0 victory.
Their wins bumped Bon Homme to 1-0 and Wolsey-Wessington to 1-0. Bon Homme's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Wolsey-Wessington defensive front that amassed 7 sacks against Miller/Highmore/Harrold last week.
