Basketball Recap: Alto Takes a Loss

Alto lost to Overton back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yellowjackets fell 42-35 to the Mustangs. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alto's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Overton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Coming up, Alto will be playing in front of their home fans against Carlisle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.54 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Overton, they will head out to take on Mt. Enterprise at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
