Football Recap: West Craven Starts Season with Victory on the Road

West Craven had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let the Havelock Rams get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Rams on their field since October 24, 2016.

DJ Davis threw for 108 yards on ten of 18 attempts. Jeremiah Leigh was his top target, picking up 48 receiving yards.

West Craven will face off against Wilson Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Havelock, they will square off against New Bern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
