Volleyball Recap: Calvin Christian Falls to Escondido Charter in First Game of Season

Calvin Christian kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Escondido Charter Tigers, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-15.

Escondido Charter can attribute much of their success to SIERRA MATTERS, who had eight assists and four aces.

The victory got Escondido Charter back to even at 2-2.

Calvin Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against High Tech NC on the 29th. As for Escondido Charter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Valley Center on the 28th.
