The North Nodaway Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Nodaway will be strutting in after a victory while Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, North Nodaway turned things around against DeKalb last Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 52-10 win over the Tigers. The contest marked the Mustangs' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 68-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rock Port.

Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt]'s loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for North Nodaway, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-9.

North Nodaway beat Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] 48-41 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Nodaway since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
