Volleyball Recap: Conneaut Area Comes Up Short

Conneaut Area lost against Corry back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Beavers by a score of 1-0.

Conneaut Area was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring four points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4.

Corry got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ava Hallberg out in front who had ten assists and five digs. That's the most digs Hallberg has posted over her last eight contests.

Conneaut Area dropped their record down to 14-8-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Corry, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 30-0-5.

Conneaut Area has already played their next matchup (against Erie First Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Corry, they have also already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Warren on the 11th.
