Softball Game Preview: Akins Eagles vs. Lake Travis Cavaliers

The Akins Eagles will square off against the Lake Travis Cavaliers at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Akins has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Akins is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They lost 16-2 to Bowie.

Meanwhile, Lake Travis fell victim to Fredericksburg and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Billies.

Akins' loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Lake Travis, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8-1.
