While Denmark put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Marinette. The Vikings put the hurt on the Marines with a sharp 7-0 win. Considering the Vikings have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Denmark has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Marinette, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Denmark beat the Marines by a score of 5-1 later that day.
