Softball Preview: Wynford Royals vs. Upper Sandusky Rams
The Wynford Royals will head out on the road to challenge the Upper Sandusky Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wynford's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Upper Sandusky's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
After a string of three wins, Wynford's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Galion by a score of 2-1.
Meanwhile, Upper Sandusky entered their tilt with Colonel Crawford with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Eagles on Saturday.
Upper Sandusky let Madison Hart and Hope Morris loose on the outfield. Hart went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI, while Morris went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Saull, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Having lost for the first time this season, Wynford fell to 3-1. As for Upper Sandusky, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
