Baseball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southeast Polk Rams.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Southeast Polk, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.

Liberty will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ottumwa at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Southeast Polk, they have already played their next contest, a 13-6 victory against Sioux City North on the 13th.
