Volleyball Recap: Dayton Takes a Loss

Dayton lost against Walton-Verona back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Greendevils took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bearcats. The Greendevils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dayton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Walton-Verona, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dayton will challenge Grant County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Walton-Verona, they will face off against Villa Madonna at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
