Baseball Recap: Casa Grande's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Casa Grande had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt American Canyon on Tuesday. The Gauchos were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Wolves. The win was nothing new for the Gauchos as they're now sitting on four straight.

Brady Laubscher made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Luke Bell was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Ryan Rice was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

Casa Grande always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as American Canyon only posted an OBP of .286.

Casa Grande's record now sits at 12-2. As for American Canyon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Casa Grande will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wolves: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
