Soccer Recap: Jordan-Matthews Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Jordan-Matthews has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 6-3 to the Southwestern Randolph Cougars on Wednesday. The match was a close 4-3 at the break, but unfortunately for Jordan-Matthews it sure didn't stay that way.

Jordan-Matthews' loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Southwestern Randolph, they pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jordan-Matthews will face off against Uwharrie Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwestern Randolph, they will challenge Bishop McGuinness at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Southwestern Randolph will need to watch out since Bishop McGuinness have now posted at least four goals in their last four contests.
