Football Recap: Blum Comes Up Short

The Blum Bobcats came up short against the Ovilla Christian Eagles on Thursday and fell 53-42. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Blum's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Ovilla Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Blum will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Covington at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Ovilla Christian, they will challenge Victory Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. The Eagles will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
