Volleyball Recap: Alexander Venes and George Jimenez Secure Win for Plainfield South

Plainfield South posted their closest win since May 7, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Shepard Astros 2-1. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Plainfield South who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 21-25, 25-19.
