Volleyball Recap: Greenbrier West Takes a Loss

Greenbrier West lost against Woodrow Wilson back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cavaliers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flying Eagles. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodrow Wilson found their leader in sophomore Kyndra Bailey, who had 11 aces and three digs. Those 11 aces set a new season-high mark for Bailey.

Greenbrier West now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Woodrow Wilson, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-3 record this season.

Greenbrier West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Oak Hill on the 20th. As for Woodrow Wilson, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against George Washington on the 20th.
