Softball Recap: Arlington Takes a Loss

Arlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Ridgedale Rockets, falling 12-1.

Arlington's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ridgedale, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Coming up, Arlington will venture away from home to face off against Kalida at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.55 runs per game on average), something the Red Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ridgedale, they will welcome Hardin Northern at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
