Abington won the last time they faced Mashpee and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Green Wave walked away with a 3-1 win over the Falcons. Given Abington's advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 66th, while Mashpee are ranked 203rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Abington is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four matches. As for Mashpee, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Abington will take on Millbury at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mashpee, they will square off against Carver at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
