Softball Recap: Plainwell Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Plainwell was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They came up short against the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants, falling 13-1.

Plainwell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Seibert, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Seibert has hit this season.

Plainwell's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Kalamazoo Central, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plainwell will welcome Three Rivers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kalamazoo Central, they will square off against Mattawan at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
