Basketball Recap: North Linn Extends Winning Streak to 21

North Linn put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Starmont Stars 81-40. Given the Lynx's advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Stars are ranked 295th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Linn pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 41.9 points. As for Starmont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

North Linn has already played their next matchup, a 71-51 defeat against Dunkerton on the 4th. As for Starmont, they will face off against Central City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
