Football Recap: Coconut Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Coconut Creek and St. Thomas Aquinas squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Coconut Creek had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Raiders 45-13. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Cougars, who until this contest were averaging 14 points allowed.

When it comes to explaining why Coconut Creek lost, don't look at Jordan Thompson. Despite the final result, he picked up 108 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Mason Mallory had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 85 yards and two TDs on only eight carries, while also throwing for 198 yards and a pair of touchdowns for St. Thomas Aquinas.
