Valley's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Thursday's struggle, when Zane Trace hitters got past them. The Indians took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers on Thursday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, South Webster entered their tilt with Piketon on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Redstreaks. The Jeeps' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three matches.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for South Webster, their win bumped their record up to 18-7.
