Basketball Recap: Port Barre Takes a Loss

Port Barre was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Oakdale Warriors, falling 61-12. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Warriors are ranked 126th).

Port Barre's loss dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Oakdale, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.

Coming up, Port Barre will challenge Northside Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oakdale, they are taking a road trip to square off against Plainview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
